Business Administrator or Business Manager

12-Month Probationary Appointment




A highly qualified candidate is sought to join the Administrative Team at South Jefferson Central School District located in northern New York.  Candidates must possess and demonstrate a strong background in school finances, facility and capital project management, and an understanding of New York State regulations for finance, state aid and budget development.  Previous experience preferred in business operations, payroll, purchasing, food service, transportation, building and grounds, risk management, investments and all areas of insurance (including self-funded health care).


Applicants must possess the appropriate New York State certification as School District Business Leader, School Business Administrator, or School District Administrator or possess the appropriate New York State classification as School Business Manager.
