Petitions - 2025 Board of Education Election

The South Jefferson Central School District will hold its Annual Budget Vote and Board of Education Election on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Nominating petitions may be obtained from the District Office, 13180 US Route 11, Adams Center, NY, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  There are two Board of Education vacancies: one five-year term, to succeed current member Pamela Donoghue, commencing July 1, 2025, and expiring June 30, 2030, and one five-year term, to succeed current member Erin Gaffney, commencing July 1, 2025, and expiring June 30, 2030.  Call 315-583-6104 for more information.

Third Board Member Vacancy

Due to a recent Board member resignation, the South Jefferson Central School District has a third vacancy on the Board of Education for a four-year, forty-one day term effective May 21, 2025. This seat will be included on the ballot for the Annual Budget Vote and Board of Education Election on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Board petitions are available at the District Office, 13180 US Route 11, Adams Center and must be returned by 5 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025. Call 315-583-6104 for more information. Please be aware the District Office is closed on Friday, April 18 due to the Good Friday holiday and will reopen at 8 am on Monday, April 21, 2025.
